So the details and figures keep changing. They’re not necessarily drastic changes, but it’s still enough that I’m getting slightly frustrated because of what I’ve already been sharing. So… I think from now on I’ll share stuff that I KNOW has already been set in stone.
The venue, for example, is already selected. It’s on the mountain at the far southeast end of the Hemet/San Jacinto area at a huge, expensive house/estate. Since it’s a house, there really isn’t a “name” for this location, and you’re gonna have trouble trying to look it up online. It’s very unique, though, and view is amazing, especially as the sun sets and the city lights come on. Yes, we are scheduling the wedding to take place as the sun is about to set. The reason we didn’t get a place like Grand Tradition is because of the short notice we have. If we wanted to wait until 2010, we could have it there, but who wants to wait? Ha! The house on the mountain is beautiful though.
We visited the house last night and met up with a few of the people that are going to be involved in putting this all together. One of them was the DJ. He’s a pretty cool guy. Another one was… hmmm… who was he? I want to say he was the owner/manager at The Perfect Limo but I’m not sure. Whoever he is, I think he’ll be playing a major role in all of this. He spoke to us about having a camera crew film the entire process, from fitting and setup all the way to us waving goodbye afterwards, sort of like a “reality TV” situation. He then wants to share the video with the likes of Oprah, TLC, and others. Not sure if I like this idea… I’ll let you know more about this later… there are more details but they’re all a bit foggy right now.
This whole thing gets pretty overwhelming at times. I’m not sure how to take it all in. It’s all a bit discombobulating, but at the same time, so marvelous.
