…and then some

Skunk Trap… continued.

There was evidence that the skunk was not under the house when I set the trap, and last night confirmed it.  I smelled a skunk odor and upon looking outside, I saw the skunk looking around trying to figure out how to get to the opening that goes under the house.  The trap is in its way.  Unfortunately, I only designed the trap with one opening, so he couldn’t get into it from the outside.  It wandered off, but I looked around and have no idea where it went.

On one hand, this is good news because I know it’s not under the house and I can seal off the opening.  On the other hand, that means I won’t be able to trap it… oh well.  Maybe once I seal off the opening it will eventually give up trying and go find another person home to invade.
